About The Role

Keynote Educational are always on the lookout for talented individuals with an interest in CPD to deliver in their expertise areas and to the overall provision of Keynote CPD. We welcome applications from teachers, examiner, educationalists and other individuals to deliver in the areas listed below:


  • Subject specific courses
  • Non-subject specific courses
  • Whole School professional development
  • Leadership
  • Specific job role CPD

Requirements for Course Leaders

  • Expertise in your particular field, current or recent experience
  • Good presentation skills both online and face-to-face
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Some imagination, flair, new points to make, interesting methods of approach
  • An understanding of the priorities and pressures in your expertise area and in schools as a whole currently
  • Good organisational skills, and can meet deadlines
  • For subject specialist courses, potential course leaders should have current or recent teaching experience, and current or recent examiner experience
  • For non-subject specific courses, potential course leaders should have current or recent experience teaching or leadership experience

Further Details

  • The courses are delivered online face-to-face (unless circumstances dictate otherwise)The range of courses are full day, half day (1.30 – 5.00pm) twilight (4.00 – 6.00pm)
  • You can lead as many or as few courses as you like – from one per year to any number

Course leader tasks comprise

  • working in collaboration with the Keynote team to select and design the course/webinar(s)
  • writing out the one-page programme with support from the Keynote team
  • delivering the course, preparing accompanying notes
  • Courses are delivered in schools or at other venue such as hotels or conference halls
  • On venue based courses, a Keynote Course Manager will always be present to ensure the smoother organisation operations of the day
  • Student conferences work on the same basis as above and are delivered in schools or in conference style auditoriums
  • Fees for sessions run between £200 – £500 dependent upon the length of the session ( one hour – full days).
  • If travel is required and any overnight accommodation, this is paid for by Keynote
  • Prior to course publication your point of contact will be a member of the Keynote course and conference production team. Once your course goes ‘live’ your main point of contact will be the Events Team
