You can make a provisional booking to secure your places for as many students as you wish without any commitment. We will let you know when we need you to confirm your numbers and at this point we will need your final numbers. We do understand, however, that it can be difficult pulling together a group of students and therefore we allow leeway of 2 or 3 students even after you have confirmed.
This is your decision, most schools ask their students to wear school uniform to a GCSE conference but not for AS /A Level conferences.
All courses and student conferences are held in city centre locations which can be easily accessed by public transport or by road. If the event is in London it will be within zones 1 and 2. You will full details of the venue with maps and directions by email. For teacher courses you will receive these 2 weeks before the course and for student conference you will receive these 4 weeks before the conference.
You will receive a confirmation email within 2 working days of your booking being placed and final joining instructions with details of the venue etc. will be sent 2 weeks before the course. All of the post-course resources and support can now be accessed easily in one place via our new post-course hub. If you have attended a course you will have been emailed a unique password which will take you directly to your course area where you will be able to access your electronic resources and communicate with / share continuing best practice the other delegates and the course leader.
No, the student conference can be tailored to meet your student’s needs. Once a date has been agreed with the presenter(s) of the conference you can discuss with them the specific content of the day.
We run student conferences for 20-700 students. You can have as many students as you can accommodate in your school facilities.
Yes, you can either have two presenters and split the cohort for the entire day, or have one presenter for the morning with one group and the afternoon with the second group.
No, the price quoted to you includes all preparation and organisation costs, fees and travel expenses, and all printing of workpacks and delivery to your school or college. There are no hidden extras.
Yes, we encourage you to open the conference out to local schools. This makes the conference even more cost effective the more students you have. We also offer regional training solutions, you could be a host school for a student conference in your local area.
