Teaching A Level Latin For The First Time: A Complete Guide for New Teachers

ABOUT THIS COURSE

This course offers an introduction and overview to teaching the A-level Latin for anyone in their first 3 years of teaching the course, or for anyone lacking confidence in delivering the course effectively.

The course will explore how to make a successful transition from GCSE to A-Level ensuring that pupils have developed the knowledge and skills to make the best possible start to their A-Level study before exploring a range of approaches and strategies for teaching both Language and Literature to invigorate and refresh teaching methods and strategies.

The day is practically focussed, and will explore a range of active approaches.
