GCSE Physics: Focus on Electricity

Many of you will have students who struggle with the underlying concepts and application of Electricity. Failure to understand the basic concepts of current, voltage and resistance, their effect on common electrical components and crucially the application of these concepts in parallel and series circuits are areas of constant frustration.

We have set up this new course to focus in on;

• The difference between current and voltage
• Series and parallel circuits
• I-V characteristics for resistor, filament lamp and diode
