The Role:

We are looking for an ambitious, high achieving and energetic sales person with a proven record in successfully negotiating and securing sales in a 100% professional market, to join our team at this exciting time of company expansion.

The central core of the sales role is the In-School Provision. You’ll be liaising with customers in tailoring and customising specified courses and training events they wish to bring into their schools. You’ll be their main Keynote contact, securing sales though active phone/email discussion and negotiation, offering real partnership support, and establishing strong customer trust and confidence.

You’ll maintain and nurture good relationships with our current customers while creating, developing and establishing good relationships in new schools and MATs. The partnership also involves keeping customers informed of our latest new products, new conferences and training courses and so on, based a good understanding of the priorities you’ll know your customer is interested in.

You’ll have excellent consultative negotiation and sales acumen, be results driven, and take satisfaction from achieving sales targets on a weekly basis. The vibrancy and dynamism of the current education market makes the role highly lucrative for the right person.


The Successful Candidate will:

  • Generate revenue in repeat and new business with current schools and new school customers through phone and email interaction
  • Have a focused driven and a proactive attitude, must be motivated by targets, KPIs, and the prospect of a fantastic earning potential!
  • Secure targeted sales on a weekly basis and meet and exceed KPI’s on busy weeks
  • Be confidently knowledgeable about the products and be able to articulate how the company’s CPD provision can support them, including tailoring products to suit priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Successfully negotiate quotes and deals to reach mutually agreed outcomes
  • Contribute to the company development by developing new and exciting sales strategies
  • Consistent high achiever and ability to turn opportunities into commission
  • Motivated, passionate individual with a desire to deliver an exceptional experience
  • Liaise successfully with marketing and other internal departments in the company
  • Ability to organise and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Good IT Skills


Skills and Competencies: 

  • Have a proven track record of negotiating and securing sales to a professional market by phone and by email
  • Demonstrate intellectual acumen regarding product knowledge and understanding, have an interest in professional development in the secondary education sector
  • Excellent people skills – ability to nurture and expand strong partnership relationships with schools to upscale current provision on a monthly/termly basis to increase contractual spend
  • A keen, astute flair for spotting opportunities, can ‘think outside of the box’ when opportunities present themselves, take calculated risks when appropriate
