This revised course is intended for both experienced and new teachers who wish to ensure the high achievement of students in AQA A level Biology. It is designed to offer strategies and practical advice that both adds the ‘WOW’ factor in teaching while at the same time ensure top grade examination success.

The course will discuss the challenges and provide strategies for teachers of mixed ability groups to ensure students achieve the highest grades possible. The course will focus on practical teaching of the AQA specifications the light of the 2017 and 2018 examinations and teachers will be able to take away a range of effective approaches provided first hand by a subject specialist with examining experience.

  • Take away a range of approaches to tackling A Level Biology
  • Gain increased understanding of the skills examiners are looking for
  • Consider different approaches in the delivery of the most difficult topics
  • Develop approaches to data related and maths questions
