10.00 – 3.30pm: TAILORING YOUR OWN DAY
Your in-school session will be designed by you, and can be planned around any areas, hands-on, one-to-one, with students or teachers only. Some example focus areas could be:
- How to make the most of your music software
- Troubleshooting music ICT problems
- Planning music ICT-based schemes of work
- Top tips on GCSE and A Level coursework recordings
- Music technology for high and low ability students
- Basic microphone and editing tuition for better recordings
- Ideas on how to record/store your students’ final work
- Using ICT as a tool to develop skills
Richard Mainwaring
Richard Mainwaring has worked with Music ICT for 30 years. He has a Masters Degree in Creative Music Technology, has taught BTEC Music Technology and GCSE Music; he is also a TV composer (BBC, C4, Discovery Channel).
