This course will demonstrate the best way to prepare students for Paper 1H. It will consider the best teaching and revision techniques to ensure that your students have a can plan and execute their exam preparation to the highest levels and will demonstrate the skills and content they need to ensure exam success in this breadth paper. It will provide tips to remind students how to access the highest levels in both the interpretations exercise and in the essay questions. Our expert presenter will examine the most common topics covered in Russia 1855-1964 and what the better answers to these topics should include. It will conclude by considering successful ways of running student clinics and revision sessions for students studying Russian History.



  • Examine and use example answers and questions, with explanation of the marks on each of the different question types
  • Learn how to ensure students can answer the key topics on Russia in this period to the highest level
  • Find out what catches out high level students and prevents them from getting the best marks on paper 1H

Keith Milne

Keith has over 25 years teaching and examining experience. He is a Senior Moderator with a major exam board and has authored and advised on a series of popular books including those detailing how to succeed with the NEA. He leads a number of courses exploring the routes to success at A Level History.
