This course explores how to prepare students in the most purposeful manner for the specific demands of the examination of 2N with AQA. It will examine the teaching and revision techniques that have proved successful in ensuring that students produce excellent final answers and are fully conversant with the skills and content required to answer a depth paper. It will consider tips to remind students how to access the highest levels in both the sources exercise and also in essay structure and content. We will examine the most common topics covered in the Weimar and also Nazi period and what the better answers to these topics should include. It will conclude by considering successful ways of running student clinics and revision sessions for students studying the whole 1918 to 1945 period.



  • Get example answers and questions, with explanation of the marks on each of the different question types
  • Learn how to ensure students can answer the key topics on Weimar and Nazi Germany to the highest level
  • Find out what catches out high level students and prevents them from getting the best marks on paper 2N

Keith Milne

Keith has over 25 years teaching and examining experience. He is a Senior Moderator with a major exam board and has authored and advised on a series of popular books including those detailing how to succeed with the NEA. He leads a number of courses exploring the routes to success at A Level History.
