Katja Hoyer

As a Head of History in a busy school, I understand the time constraints and pressures that staff and students face in the build up to exams and am hoping this webinar will provide practical tips to help make it all a little more manageable and less daunting. I was born and raised in Germany but have taught and directed history in state and public schools since moving to the UK in 2011. I have never lost my passion for the subject itself and recently published a book on German history called Blood and Iron – The Rise and Fall of the German Empire 1871-1991. Therefore I hope to offer an engaging, rigorous and useful session for all staff and students seeking to boost their confidence in preparation for the exam.
