GCSE Dance Revision Conference

ABOUT THIS CONFERENCE

Our GCSE Dance revision conference prepares students for success across practical and theoretical components. Delivered by examiners, this GCSE Dance revision course combines choreography workshops, performance practice, and written exam preparation. 

Students refine performance skills, explore dance analysis, and strengthen their ability to write critical evaluations. Model answers and examiner commentary highlight how to achieve higher grades. 

Separate pathways support students aiming for grades 4–5 and those targeting grades 8–9, with guidance across both performance and written elements. 

By the end of the day, students leave with stronger technical skills, improved confidence, and examiner-produced resources. 

Students will:

• Refine performance technique, physicality, and expressive interpretation.
• Learn how to analyse professional works and apply theory to practical tasks.
• Build strategies for writing evaluative and reflective responses under timed conditions.
• Gain confidence in applying dance terminology accurately in written and oral assessments.
• Take away examiner-produced revision resources, model answers, and practice activities.
