GCSE English Literature Revision Conference

ABOUT THIS CONFERENCE

Our GCSE English Literature revision conference builds the confidence and strategies students need to succeed across all components. Delivered by examiners, this GCSE English Literature revision course provides expert guidance on essay writing, text analysis, and contextual understanding.  

Students learn how to analyse texts critically, compare works, and structure responses that fully address assessment objectives. Exemplar essays and examiner feedback illustrate what examiners look for at the top bands.  

Separate sessions are tailored for students aiming for grade 4–5 and those pushing towards grade 8–9.   By the end of the day, students leave with stronger analytical skills, improved essay-writing confidence, and examiner-produced resources.    

Students will:

• Explore approaches to key set texts, themes, and contexts.
• Strengthen skills in comparing texts and writing critical essays.
• Learn how to structure answers that fully address the assessment objectives.
• Take away guidance and practice resources written by examiners.
