GCSE History Revision Conference

ABOUT THIS CONFERENCE

Our GCSE History revision conference provides students with the knowledge and exam strategies to excel in source-based and extended writing questions. Delivered by examiners, this GCSE History revision course combines interactive tasks with essay-writing practice.  

Students develop skills in source evaluation, chronological understanding, and forming arguments under timed conditions. Examiner feedback and model answers show what higher-grade responses look like.  

Separate sessions support both grade 4–5 and grade 8–9 students.  

By the end of the day, students leave with improved exam technique, stronger recall of historical events, and examiner-produced resources.  

Students will:

• Build skills in source analysis, essay planning, and exam technique.
• Develop confidence in recalling historical events and linking them to interpretations.
• Learn strategies for structuring coherent, high-level essays.
• Take away examiner-led revision resources, model answers, and timed practice exercises.
