ABOUT THIS COURSE

The course is designed for all teachers of GCSE and A level Music, looking to refresh and expand their teaching approaches to teaching Jazz, as well as gaining insight into, and new ways to support students when answering exam questions on unfamiliar jazz pieces.

Focus will be on ways of how to prepare students for analysing unfamiliar jazz pieces as well as accessing opportunities for students in jazz performing and composing
