4.05 – 4.20 pm: Revisiting threshold concepts
• Understanding, retaining and applying knowledge on the stages of learning classification of skills and personality types

4.20 – 4.40pm: Using stages of learning to address common exam technique pitfalls – Putting the ‘Skill’ into skill acquisition
• Tackling poorly answered application questions (A02)
• Using stages of learning as a foundation to successfully evaluate more complex areas (AO3) of the skill acquisition specification (Guidance, feedback and practice types)

4.40 – 4.55pm: Transferring previously learnt threshold concepts to access the highest grades in future topics
• Transfer knowledge of stages of learning, classification of skills and personality to maximise success when analysing:
• Arousal theories
• Social facilitation/inhibition
• Zone of optimal functioning

4.55 – 5.00pm: Question and answer
