This course will provide current and new teachers of Edexcel GCSE PE with valuable materials and strategies to deliver the theoretical areas of the new specification to their students. The programme is specifically designed to support teachers to understand the requirements of Component 1 and to achieve strong student results in the Paper 1 examination. Delegates will examine examplars of good teaching and examination practice for all three topics, and will focus on improving student performance by personalising the new Personal Exercise Programme in order to make successful links with the theoretical content.
