This course offers an excellent opportunity to consider how to prepare students most effectively and in the most focused manner for the precise demands of the 1C examination of the Tudors with AQA. It will consider the best teaching and revision techniques to ensure that your students have a head start in the run up to the exam preparation and are fully conversant with the skills and content most appropriate to exam success in this breadth paper. It will consider tips to remind students how to access the highest levels in both the interpretations exercise and also in essay structure and content. It will examine the most common topics covered in the Tudor period and what the better answers to these topics may include. It will conclude by considering successful ways of running student clinics and revision sessions for students studying the Tudor period.

Keith Milne

Keith has over 25 years teaching and examining experience. He is a Senior Moderator with a major exam board and has authored and advised on a series of popular books including those detailing how to succeed with the NEA. He leads a number of courses exploring the routes to success at A Level History.
